James Kolton Houser, was born at 7:38 AM Thursday December 31st 2009. Kolt weighed 4 lbs 9 oz and was 16.5 in long. That may seem little but he was 3.5 weeks early and his mother is a 5 foot 95 lb little woman. She’s tiny, he’s tiny.

He had to stay in his incubator until Saturday afternoon because being so little, he was having trouble keeping his temperature up. His father’s nickname at work is “Chilli” because he’s always cold. Clint’s cold, Kolt’s cold.

He got to come home this afternoon so Neil and I finally made it back to Eddyville to get our life back to normal. It’s funny because I was complaining about the Holidays messing with everyone’s routine and schedules and I was just ready for everything to go back to “normal”. And the next thing I know I have a nephew with whom I’m completely infatuated. For several days even after the Holidays had past my life still wasn’t back to normal and it really never will be again.

But guess what…

I’m OK with that.

Aww, he is too precious. I’m so happy for your family! Let me know how the whole aunt thing goes because Clay’s sister-in-law is having a baby, so I’m going to be an almost aunt this summer! I can’t wait!
Is it weird that I kind of consider myself an aunt even though Clay and I are still only dating? Hm…
And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new layout
Aww your nephew is adorable, I wish the best to you, your nephew, and his parents. Normal is overrated anyway =]. Nice layout.
Rachie! I’m finally back & catching up! I guess I have a lot of that to do.. lol. Your nephew is absolutely adorable, congratulations!! Hope the holidays treated you well!
