Bristol Bridal Expo 2013

March 20, 2013

This was my very first bridal expo and to say the entire experience was overwhelming would be an understatement.

Planning. Designing. Building. Ordering. Purchasing. Implementing.

And finally, it all came together on January 26, 2013 at the Carroll Convention Center in Paducah Kentucky. My parents and husband helped me set most of it up the night before and my trusty assistant Amy (aka my sister in law!) helped with the final touches that morning, before all 300+ brides stormed the ball room.

Because I’d not taken part in an expo or show before, I had VERY little expectations. My goal? To at least LOOK busy. To have a steady flow of people in my booth. Little did I know, I would leave the expo at the end of the 6 hours with 6 weddings booked. Later that night? 3 more. Since then? 4 more just from the expo.

The Bristol Bridal Expo was a huge step for me and I am SO glad I took it. It, among other things, has given me a big boost of confidence. Just the right amount for me to take my business full time. I am so incredibly excited about this journey I’m on and I hope you’ll join me!
