Baby Jaycee’s Portrait Session

In March 2009 my friend Melissa had her first baby, Jaycee. When my best friend Megan and I visited her in the hospital I shot a few (OK, a ton!) pictures of the precious little girl. Melissa and her husband ended up using one of my pictures on Jaycee’s birth announcement. Six months later they called me up, asking if I’d come over and take a few of Jaycee in her Halloween costume. I practically screamed YES into the phone! Of course, once we got started I didn’t want to stop! It was, officially, my first photo shoot. I couldn’t thank Melissa and Zac enough for choosing me. Here are my favorites from that sunny day last fall.

Erin’s Portrait Session

On my birthday last April my friend Erin took me downtown for lunch and because it’s a natural extension of me, I brought my camera. Even though it was my birthday we spent the whole afternoon taking pictures. Or rather, I did because it’s what I love to do. What a great birthday!

Jeannie’s Portrait Session

I shot this solo session of Jeannie back in September 2009. She and her sister Emily have been life long friends of my mine and when they came up with the idea to shoot in a field close to their house I jumped at the opportunity to get some experience under my belt. Jeannie is absolutely gorgeous and is so easy to shoot and Emily was a great addition. We had a ton of fun as well!

Christmas Wish List 2010

Last weekend I took my sister in law’s engagement pictures and last night I completed my photography website. yea, I’m really getting into you guys. It’s a sickness.

The only remedy I can think of is to actually pursue it further! I am taking small jobs so if you’re in my area and feel like getting yourself dolled up in front of my camera, PLEASE! Let me know!

IF I do end up taking this show on the road I’m going to need more equipment. THANK GOD Christmas is around the corner!

Canon Wide Angle EF 35mm f/2.0 Autofocus Lens:

Canon EOS 60D DSLR Camera:

The Shootsac:

This concludes the photography portion of my wish list. Yea, like I’ll even get half of this list BUT a girl can dream!
