Jeannie’s Portrait Session

I shot this solo session of Jeannie back in September 2009. She and her sister Emily have been life long friends of my mine and when they came up with the idea to shoot in a field close to their house I jumped at the opportunity to get some experience under my belt. Jeannie is absolutely gorgeous and is so easy to shoot and Emily was a great addition. We had a ton of fun as well!

Christmas Wish List 2010

Last weekend I took my sister in law’s engagement pictures and last night I completed my photography website. yea, I’m really getting into you guys. It’s a sickness.

The only remedy I can think of is to actually pursue it further! I am taking small jobs so if you’re in my area and feel like getting yourself dolled up in front of my camera, PLEASE! Let me know!

IF I do end up taking this show on the road I’m going to need more equipment. THANK GOD Christmas is around the corner!

Canon Wide Angle EF 35mm f/2.0 Autofocus Lens:

Canon EOS 60D DSLR Camera:

The Shootsac:

This concludes the photography portion of my wish list. Yea, like I’ll even get half of this list BUT a girl can dream!

Amy & Tim’s Engagement Session

About a month ago, my sister-in-law Amy and her fiance Tim asked me to take their Save the Date picture. Between then and yesterday the Save the Date picture session turned into a full blown engagement session! I arrived at my in-law’s house Saturday morning and, with the assistance of my mother-in-law and father-in-law, I took almost 400 pictures of the adorable couple. Believe it or not, we never left their yard!

Some things you need to know, and some things you don’t

- As of this morning we have moved about half of our stuff back to the lake house. Tomorrow morning we will take a load in my car and one load in Neil’s truck. We’re doing this move all by ourselves since we had help moving to Madisonville 2 months ago. It only seems right.

- It is just now 11 pm and I am ready for bed. I was tired this time last night and ended up going to be 2 hours before Neil came home from work. I’m an old woman and just can not stay up late anymore.

- I went shopping in Evansville  this evening with my bestie Megan and I spent over 200$. Don’t judge me! I hardly EVER shop anymore and I really really needed to spend 50$ on tights. Really, I did.

- Not this coming week but the week after that is my FALL BREAK! What am I doing? Studying. So really, the only break I’m getting is a break from driving to school every day. Still, it’s much needed.

- Sunday is my nephew Kolton’s dedication at Neil’s family’s church. I am taking pictures of it. Yay! I’m also making a chocolate peanut butter pie for the dinner afterward.

- My sister in law, Amy, recently got engaged to her boyfriend of a year and a half and asked me to take their save the date pictures! I’m also doing that Sunday. I think it might be some sort of audition to take their engagement pictures. I hope so!

- Remember when I said I was tired? Yea, I am. So I’m going to cut this blog short and retire to my bedroom. Yawn.

WAIT WHAT? $50 TIGHTS?!?!? ARE THEY MADE OF GOLD? DO THEY SING TO YOU? DO THEY COME WITH AN OPTIONAL SUN ROOF AND TINTED WINDOWS?!?!

I’m not sure two pairs for $25 makes it much better? Seriously — I need to see pictures!

Someone design me an EmmySuh outfit that involves bright tights because I can’t make it work myself but I love it on others.
