Baby Teagan is a month old now and I’m itching to blog her newborn portraits! But before I do, New Momma Kortney & New Daddy Harrison’s maternity portraits (and of course, Baby Teagan’s birth) must come first!
Not too long ago, I blogged the first of two of Kortney’s maternity portrait sessions, partially taken for a boutique who gave her the outfit but also to document her half-way point in her pregnancy. Kortney was blessed with an easy pregnancy and if it wasn’t obvious from her first maternity session, you can tell by her second session – pregnancy looks amazing on Kortney! She’s always been stylish and having the baby bump definitely didn’t hinder that – ladies, take note!
The proposal, their http://rachaelhouser.com/blog/paducah-kentucky-summer-engagement-session/ session, their wedding, and their pregnancy announcement session…. all but one took place at my parents’ property here in Paducah. For her halfway through pregnancy session (Didn’t know that was a thing? It can be if you want it to be!), we chose to mixed it up a little and shoot at Grace Episcopal Church. How darling is Kortney??? Pregnancy looks great on her! Baby girl is almost here so we shot their maternity session last week – that will be on the blog soon!

Like blogging for […]
The entire week leading up to Kortney & Harrison’s wedding it was forecast to rain all during their big day. Kortney and I weren’t too happy about it and we started discussing alternate portrait locations and planning for a rain check session for her and Harrison’s bride & groom portraits. It would have changed things quite a bit but rain doesn’t have to ruin a wedding day. Fortunately for everyone, we didn’t have to find out!
This couple. You guys. I could not be more honored to be this couple’s photographer! But more importantly, I could not be more honored to be this girl’s sister-in-law!! With my help, Harrison commandeered Kortney’s style blogger shoot with me this past November to pop the question while I photographed it. Nine months later, we […]
The lovely Kortney, of Miss Kortney Lane whom I photograph often, approached me about doing a shoot for a pair of earrings she was generously given by a designer to blog. In the days of social media and bloggers, designers will offer pieces of their collections for a style/fashion blogger to style and blog about […]
