I know! It’s crazy!! I was at clinicals (my LAST clinicals until September!!) for the first part of the day and then I headed to Paducah to run a few errands in preparation for this weekend’s wedding. Yea, my first solo wedding as a wedding photographer is THIS SATURDAY! Man, this year is going by so fast.

I had dinner with my parents – yummy white chicken chili, a short meeting with my bride and then shopped for shoes with my momma. I’m already back home at the lake and settling in for the night. Tomorrow will be full of nursing student association meetings (my inauguration as president of our branch is tomorrow) and studying for finals. As of right now I have one paper to write, one test to take , two clinical portfolios to prepare, and four finals to take and then this semester is over! Boy, am I ready!

In the next few days I will be posting pictures related to the flooding in the area. This time last year Nashville flooded a great deal and we had our share too. Summer pool for Lake Barkley is 359 ft sea level. This is what it looked like last May at 368 ft:

Right now it is at 365.4 ft and they are expecting it to rise 2 ft every daily, up to 373 ft. It’s a little scary and very possible that the bridge we take from our area of town to the outside world will be covered. Not cool. So look for those pictures. Also, make sure you’re keeping those affected by the tornado’s in your thoughts and prayers. The death toll is close to 300 I hear.
