God bless this precious family! I’ve had the honor of following along Erica & Brandon’s journey from almost the beginning! I met Erica four years ago while photographing her cousin Sunni’s wedding. Since then I’ve photographed Erica’s family and had my hair done by her for over a year. She is a talented hairstylist and the sweetest human! As our friendship grew, I learned that she and her husband Brandon were struggling with infertility. Graeme was already with us so I was able to share our journey with her, from the other side.

When she announced their decision to pursue adoption, I was more than thrilled for them! What amazing hearts these two have! The Lord saw to it that they didn’t have to wait as long as most before being chosen by a birth mother. The coolest part of their journey? When Erica met with the birth mother after already being chosen, the birth mother asked the question, “Do you have a name picked out?” Aiden. They’d like to name him Aiden. Both Erica and the birth mother were stunned because that’s the name that God had also laid on the birth mother’s heart! Our God works in the most amazing ways!
