Newborn sessions are always governed by the newborn. When baby is good and sleepy, I’ll do solo newborn poses. If baby is awake but content, I like to do family and sibling poses. But if the newborn is awake and not happy, I’ll do whatever I can to make them happy – which is usually poses with mom.

Baby Emmett was the most awake, alert, and content newborn I may have ever had the privilege to work with! Family poses are my favorite and I think they were his favorite as well! And his bond with his older brother??? It was the most precious thing to watch! And when family time was over, he was nice and snoozy and we got exactly what we wanted from solo posing. It was a very good day.

The best time to book your newborn session is as soon as you know you want to work with me. I do not book specific dates on the calendar, instead I book a limited number of babies each month. This allows me to offer flexible scheduling options after each baby makes their arrival earth side, since babies come in their own perfect timing. I do everything I can to help new parents stay relaxed and this is just one way I can keep the process as stress-free as possible.
