A Fountain Avenue and Country Lake Side Fall Engagement Session in Paducah Kentucky
It’s no secret that I have a soft spot for high school sweethearts – Neil and I have known each other since middle school and start dating in high school. Elizabeth & Justin, therefore, had me loving them and their story from the beginning for the reason alone! But once I spent more time emailing back and forth with Elizabeth to plan their wedding photographer and engagement session I felt an immediate connection with her. I’m always excited to start working with a couple a their engagement session but I’m also a tad nervous. What if my personality is too much for them (I’m pretty smiley and giggly and, well, so excited to work with them… and I make noises because of that lol)? Not everyone is smiley and cracking jokes… BUT! My concerns we’re quickly erased when I met up with Elizabeth & Justin in person! I think you’ll notice that in their images below 😀
They met me just a couple blocks from my house in Fountain Avenue to shoot on the sidewalks in front of some of my favorite older homes in Paducah. I had been eying that location for weeks and as time grew on, the fall foliage became more colorful and more gorgeous so I knew it would be a great choice. We finished their session at none other than my parents’ property because I rarely can think of a prettier country setting than there.
