I’ve always liked the change in seasons… It’s one of the best things about Kentucky – we experience all four to the extreme! And I like each season for different reasons but by the time fall rolls around everywhere I turn are reminders of how fall is truly my favorite season of the year. Most people are just happy to longer sweat to death in the often times awful summer heat that the south endures but it’s the not the escape of the heat that has me longing for fall. It’s the vibrant colors, the crisp air, the most golden golden hours, the toasting of marshmallows and hotdogs over a fire, sweaters and leggings and boots, and best of all, fall portraits!

Every year I host 2 (this year, 3!) days of fall mini sessions where couples and families can receive a short session from me at a discounted price at location of my choosing. Yesterday was Day 1 of 3 and I’d say it was a major success! I can’t wait until next Sunday for Fall Mini Session Day 2! Enjoy a few sneak peeks from yesterday’s families 🙂
