A Clinton Kentucky Wedding
When Julie & Brian and I met in early July for their booking meeting and we left with their entire timeline and wedding day laid out. An afternoon ceremony and cake and punch reception meant we’d be able to push their Bridal Party and Bride & Groom Portraits for after the reception and closer to the ideal golden hour light we all want and love. But the weather looked iffy off and on all day. Was it going to rain or just stay cloudy? Any natural light photographer will tell you that they can work with cloudy but with shooting so close to sunset, I admit I was a tad worried. What if we lost the light sooner than we’d hoped?
With a solid but flexible timeline and a rock star coordinator (Thanks, Kari!!!), things were running smoothly all day long and we were even ahead of schedule, which rarely ever happens. It also helped tremendously that I photographed Julie & Brian’s engagement session so I knew which poses looked amazing on them and they were already familiar with said poses!
