A Downtown Paducah Wedding
While walking across the street from their hotel to their ceremony location for her and Jordan’s first look, Marlee told me that she thought she’d never get married. She didn’t think she could do it without her mother, who passed years ago, but that her dad and her step-mom helped her see that her mother would have wanted her to find someone to share a happy life with. And find someone Marlee did. In fact, Marlee & Jordan met during a bride and groom styled shoot with her step-mom as the photographer! No joke! Marlee played the bride and Jordan played the groom and they did it seamlessly without having ever met before! You can tell they had chemistry from the very beginning!
We could not have asked for a better, more gorgeous fall day for their wedding. There was a slight breeze for most of the day but neither Marlee & Jordan or their family let it bother them – this was something that they’d all been waiting and praying and working toward for almost a year! I loved it because you could really tell just how much their friends and family cherished them. People traveled far and wide for their day and even though it was a smaller amount of guests, the dance floor never stopped! It was evident that everyone had a blast and that Marlee and Jordan were made for one another!
