An Outdoor Family Farm Wedding in Metropolis Illinois

Shawnie and her bridesmaids got ready at her parents’ house, the very same house she grew up in. Eric and his groomsmen got ready at his and Shawnie’s house that they renovated with their own hands, which was originally built by her grandfather. The ceremony and reception took place in one of the many fields of Shawnie’s family’s farm that Eric professionally crop dusts via his helicopter. Eighty percent of everything for their wedding day was done by Shawnie’s family and their family friends. To say that this past Saturday was a labor of love in allll the ways would be a major understatement!

Family and friends from near and far came together and, barely missing the rain, celebrated these two wonderful people and the love that they share. It was more than an honor to be asked as part of the 20% that didn’t know them already to assist in their day!
