This is the year for anniversary sessions, apparently! I am not complaining… it would be make me a happy photographer to photograph not only a couple’s engagement session and wedding, but also their anniversary sessions, maternity sessions, newborn sessions, Christmas card sessions…. I want to photograph every event in a family’s life, from the beginning! That’s my goal!

I was more than thrilled to hear that Megan & Andrew planned to surprise Megan’s parents and come home for Thanksgiving! Mainly because I know they haven’t been back home since they’re move to California over a year ago, but also because I knew it would be the perfect time to get together for some LONG over due portraits! You see, due to a crunched timeline and a rainy afternoon, their Bride & Groom portraits were minimal at best. I would have love love loved to jet out to see them for their anniversary session but Lord knows how I would have made that work with my busy schedule here AND a baby! Megan & Andrew are both so sweet and understanding but were definitely on board when I suggested we take some pictures while they were in town.
