Ashley & Travis – what a cute couple! Ashley and her mom booked me for Ashley & Travis’ December 2013 wedding several months ago. I love a bride who plans ahead! But about a month ago Ashley decided that she’d rather have a summer wedding than a winter one, which I totally don’t blame her! I mean, Kentucky winters can be mild like this past year’s OR they can be horrid! Better not chance it! She opted for the only available Saturday I still had in July, which is fine with me. Yea, it’ll be hot as all get out but July sunsets are GORG. Moving their wedding up a half year made it very important that we get together for their engagement session STAT. Hey, I can still use medical terms even tho I’m no longer a practicing nurse, right? She loved loved loved loved Abby & Paul’s Metropolis Illinois engagement session, the locations primarily, so we jetted off to the old abandoned factory and Abby’s grandparents’ farm. Speaking of that, thanks for letting us shoot there again, Dixie! You are an absolutely sweetheart!
