Baby Sam

May 16, 2017

They all curled up on mommy and daddy’s bed and loved on each other. I gave a few directions here and there but for the most part, I just photographed their interactions. I witnessed how they are with one another and took a small look into their new life as the dynamic changed – a family of 4 had just become a family of 5. It was simple and sweet.

This is exactly how lifestyle sessions, especially those that already include children, should go. This is how it should feel. It’s more about their time together and less about their time with me. April and Bradley, thank you so much for inviting me inside your home – inside your bedroom – to capture this small fragment of your life. Welcome Baby Sam!

The best time to book your newborn session is as soon as you know you want to work with me. I do not book specific dates on the calendar, instead I book a limited number of babies each month. This allows me to offer flexible scheduling options after each baby makes their arrival earth side, since babies come in their own perfect timing. I do everything I can to help new parents stay relaxed and this is just one way I can keep the process as stress-free as possible. If you have waited until the last minute to book a newborn photographer, feel free to reach out! If I can squeeze you in, I will! I don’t want anyone to miss out on having this beautiful and fleeting season captured for forever keeping.
