A Downtown and Country Winter Engagement Session | Paducah, Kentucky

Sara knew exactly where she wanted the three of us to go for their engagement session… We started off around Downtown Paducah, making sure to end up at their priority spot – the building that is covered in Ted’s dearly departed mother’s painted tiles. And it is gorgeous! I’ve walked past this building so many times in my life and while I have always admired it for its beauty, I never knew the back story. It’s amazing all the people that God brings into your life!

An even better example is Sara & Ted. They dated in high school so their families know each other very well. They reconnected in college and so Sara was there for Ted when his father died. One year later, Ted asked Sara to marry him on a black sand beach in Iceland. Fast forward a few months and the three of us were taking their engagement portraits at one of the biggest displays of his mother’s work. It was so lovely to commemorate her in that way!
