A Fall Mountain Wedding in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Rachel & Michael’s was one of those days that I did not want to wait on to edit and blog. But of course it was followed by a week that I had (and am still am having!) zero childcare and therefore, could only work on it during the nighttime hours while my kiddos were asleep. Of course! So in the little minutes here and there today, I was able to finally gather my favorites from this amazing day in Chattanooga to tell this fun couple’s beautiful story!

It started as most wedding days do – Rachel and her ladies arrived early to start with hair and makeup. While everyone worked and bustled around, we all chatted about how amazing the weather was this morning and how beautiful the day’s forecast was showing. I was thrilled so many many reasons – one being was if it were raining, the grassy area where we were going to shoot the mountain landscape for their bride & groom portraits would have been too soft and muddy for Rachel’s stiletto heels! Another reason was we would have had to move their ceremony inside instead of shooting out in the gorgeous courtyard! It wasn’t too warm or too cold – it was the perfect fall day for an outdoor wedding!

Another thing everyone talked about throughout Rachel & Michael’s day was how smoothly everyone went. I cant think of anything that went even the slightest bit wrong and I know I’m not the only one thankful for that! And that party!!!! Their friends and family really did go all out to make sure the first day of the rest of Rachel & Michael’s life was simply the best!
