If Lauren & Colby look familiar to you, then you’re probably remembering their Save the Date session back in the winter. For that session, we only did 30 minutes and they rocked it out! You can imagine how rocking their full engagement session was! It makes me so excited for their August wedding! Here’s their proposal story, as told by Lauren:

“Colby’s family owns a beautiful horse barn in La Center. This past December, we had plans to go to dinner with our friends. He told me that his brother and cousin were hanging Christmas lights for their Nana and were having trouble getting the generator, which was powering them, started. Our friends met us at his house to go to Paducah for dinner, and Colby said we would stop by the horse barns to see if his brother needed help. When we pulled into the horse barn, the lights came on. I honestly just thought they were poorly hung icicle lights until I got right in front and the lights spelled “Marry Me” all while his brother had the song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” playing. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was surely surprised, and definitely said “yes” with no hesitation!”
