When Jamia & Cory took me to the beautiful Blue Sky Vineyards for their engagement, I thought they couldn’t get any more photographically perfect. I should have believed Jamia when she told me how much I would love the Historic Bell Hill.
Love isn’t even the right word for how I feel about their wedding at the Historic Bell Hill! I arrived to the lovely ladies getting ready in the second floor bathroom. For the first few minutes, Jamia’s mother took me around the grounds and I fell instantly in love with the bed and breakfast AND Jamia & Cory’s perfectly planned wedding!
When I asked Jamia for the jewelry she was planning on wearing she only gave me this. She explained that it’s also her new and borrowed, a necklace made from her old engagement ring (that Cory had given her) and her mother’s wedding set from her father. So incredibly sentimental and gorgeous!
I could have photographed Jamia’s bridal portraits for HOURS!
Jamia & Cory opted to do a first look and afterward, Jamia confided in me that it was the best moment of the day! A little back story… It was raining all morning, right up until an hour before the ceremony time, and things were not going 100% according to plan. It wasn’t until their first look that Jamia was actual able to breathe and relax a little before the wedding. She felt 10 times better and allowed herself to enjoy the rest of the day, which turned out beautifully!
Below is the flower that I am now calling my favorite flower…. some kind of rose that Jamia had shipped in from Brazil! (Or somewhere like that!)
THIS VIEW was the main reason I loved the Historic Bell Hill so much! Jamia & Cory chose to have their ceremony right in front of it and my oh my did it make my heart happy!
The awesome wedding party!
Because of the rain, Jamia & Cory and I decided to do a day-after (some day after) session instead of taking up more time between the ceremony and reception for their portraits…. but they were all for the few times I dragged them out of their reception party for a couple shots!
