An In Home West Paducah Family Newborn Session
While I love the consistency of white balance (color) and light in my studio, I love photographing sessions in my client’s homes because I enjoy shooting in different locations (especially if that location has great natural light!) and because in home sessions are so special and sentimental for the obvious reason. I mean, I had our maternity portraits and one of the two newborn portraits taken in our home because I love it that much!
I offer three options for newborn portrait sessions – in my natural light studio, outdoor location as long as the weather is good, and of course, in the client’s home. In home newborn sessions like Baby Crosby’s here is essential ideal to me! I’m able to document not just the family in their very natural environment but also the newborn’s nursery. Crosby’s is just the sweet little boy nursery… Felicia did an amazing job decorating!
But my favorite thing about in home newborn sessions is the siblings are usually much more comfortable in their own home and sitting on the couch, loving on their new sibling isn’t at all foreign to them. It’s something they do multiple times a day! Big Brother Dax, who was such a proud big brother at his baby brother’s birth, was even more cuddly with him and mom and dad because it was nothing new! Same ol same old – except this time around, I was there to capture it!
