A Lifestyle Studio Newborn Session of A Precious Baby Boy in Paducah Kentucky
What should have been Heather & Eric’s anniversary session, turned maternity, ended up turning in to Baby Emmett’s studio newborn session. So how exactly did that happen? We’re not procrastinators, I promise!
I almost exclusively shoot anniversary sessions for past #RHPCouples so after shooting their engagement session and wedding back in 2015, it was past time for an anniversary session. During the planning process of scheduling their session, Heather dropped a happy bomb (there is such a thing!) – could we wait till the middle of the summer and do a maternity session instead? Well, OF COURSE! There’s nothing I love more than celebrating these amazing Life Moments with my couples!
Fast forward to three days before their scheduled maternity session when I received an email from Heather – the location they had wanted wasn’t going to work out because the sunflowers were dead, oh and, baby boy was born that morning! What?! More than 5 weeks early! But Baby Emmett was doing well and they’d let me know when he busts out of the NICU so we can schedule his newborn session in place of the maternity session. My response to her, after freaking out about Baby Emmett being here: Best reason ever to need to postpone a session!
