Near the beginning of May I drove 8 hours to southern Michigan to visit my dear friend Melissa, who’s maternity session I photographed while I was up there. It had been less than 6 months since I’d seen her but over a year and a half since I’d actually spent much time with her. The first morning I was there they took me to the farmer’s market and later that afternoon we traveled to South Haven, a beautiful little town on Lake Michigan. When I visit a new town I always rate it on whether I’d move there or not and I can definitely say that I could live in the Kalamazoo Michigan area. I had such a good time with Melissa and Dan… I won’t let it be another year and a half before hanging out with them again!
