I’m always so honored that high school classmates reach out to me when they start planning their wedding, even after years have passed since we’ve seen each other! Facebook really has done wonders for keeping people in contact with each other, even if the connection is a virtual one!
Shayla & Heath’s story holds such a sweet sentiment for the both of them. Heath worked with Shayla’s father – they were very close. Her father introduced the two love birds but it wasn’t until after his passing that they decided to start dating. It was only then that they learned how truly loved they both were by Shayla’s father. It’s almost as if Heath was chosen by her dad to take care of her when he no longer could. Shayla says Heath makes her feel so safe, and that they are best friends. I know that’s exactly what any father would want for their daughter in a husband!
I am the first to comment=) I have known Shayla since we were little. I rode her Aunt’s bus with her and we played with her barbie doll house and mini nail salon set when we were little girls. I know both of parents are so proud of her decisions and Heath is a great guy. I have known him for a little while. May God richly bless you Shayla and your new marriage. You two are so adorable together.
