The internet is such an amazing thing. Seriously, my business would not be where it is today without it. And I am so thankful that brides are using it more and more every day to find their wedding vendors. Due to this awesome resource, however, more often than not the first time I meet my couples in person is for their engagement session. Have I mentioned lately how important the engagement session is??? More on than soon 😉

So, to break the ice during our first meeting I always ask how the couple met. It may be my favorite part of the whole session!! Everyone’s story is so different and beautiful and it really helps me connect on a more personal level with them. So what’s Cindy & Josh’s story?

Cindy has lived all over the world. Literally. Josh lived in Calvert City, a small town just outside of Paducah. Both studied chemical engineering, but at different schools, and somehow (fate?) they ended up at the same facility in Calvert City, KY for their internship. It takes years for a couple to find each other and (usually) a few years more to understand how significant their finding each other was. And the first single moment to change their lives forever only takes just that – a moment, a second in time. Josh took that moment and turned it into a proposal. In October, they will take another single moment in time to say I Do and change their lives again. And I am so excited to be there for that part of their story!
