I’ve known Rachel for years and years but we were never really close – she’s a year older than me plus she went to a different school growing up. You can imagine how thrilled I was that she and Walt chose me, out of all the area photographers, to photograph their December 2015 wedding! Rachel & Walt met through mutual friends a few years back but reconnected online and the rest, as they say, is history!

We started their engagement session at a beloved condemned (yes, really!) building, The Katterjohn, and finished the evening off at Downtown Paducah. The colors of the trees and the vines growing up the old building tempted me to stay there the full session! But I knew Rachel had her heart set on the vintage city look of our beautiful downtown area. Once we got there, I was so glad we came! Only a handful of weeks stand between us and their wedding day, but I say, it can’t get here soon enough!
