A Summer Country Church Wedding in Barlow Kentucky

We arrived no more than an hour before it began to pour outside. We knew rain was in the forecast but the chance was low and the radar made it look like it would go around us. It and we were wrong and we spent a good chunk of our time before the ceremony inside, waiting for the ceremony to begin. Elizabeth & Justin’s wedding day was one of the rare times when doing a first look would not have saved us because all the rain occurred before the ceremony… and not after! We walked outside after the ceremony to find sunshine and the most beautiful glow just in time for bridal party portraits and bride & groom portraits! Allllll the glow! I was in heaven!

Rewind back to the ceremony…. Elizabeth & Justin chose not to see each other before hand (i.e. traditional reveal) so I paid special attention to Justin’s face while Elizabeth was walking down the aisle. I didn’t want to miss one millisecond off expression that would show across his face. I’d been warned by both he and Elizabeth that he would likely cry – and he did! It was the sweetest thing!
