A Classy Bohemian Back Yard Wedding | Calvert City, Kentucky
This past Saturday was a wet one and yet I’m thrilled with how the images are turning out! Much like Taylor & Logan’s May wedding!
The day started out beautiful and sunny! We were able to photograph bridal details, Taylor & Logan’s first look and part 1 of their portraits, and wedding party portraits outside in the bright happy weather….. that was until the very end of wedding party portraits when the clouds rolled in heavy and the rain started slowly but steadily coming down. No problem! We knew rain was in the forecast and the amazing Sara Falder and her crew at Flower + Furbish had already begun preparing to move the outdoor ceremony and reception under a tent – AND IT WAS STUNNING!
My brides & grooms and their families are so awesome – Taylor & Logan and their whole gang just went right with the flow! Even when the wind was roaring (and knocking decorations down) and the rain was nailing the roof of the tents! Only when the tornado warnings started did the party slow down! But not before I convinced (hardly had to try!) Taylor & Logan to DANCE IN THE RAIN for some last minute pictures before we all called it a day and headed inside Taylor’ family home. Y’all! No complaints about this day! See for yourself!
