This is a real blog post!

December 26, 2011

Because I’m procrastinator, I choose to blog instead of baking garlic cheese bread for tonight’s Christmas party where we’ll be served spaghetti. So….for the first time since a month and a half ago, I’m going to blog. Like really blog.

This past semester was the hardest and most time consuming semester I’ve ever had in all my (many) years of going to school. It was because of this that I didn’t blog often or much in the past several months and since I hardly have any free time before Christmas break, I had to use the past month to catch up on…life. All in all, this is my lame excuse for not blogging like I use to.

Just before I started writing this post I was looking back on last December and wow, I use to blog A LOT. I really want to get back into the blogging on the regular but I’m afraid my last semester of nursing school is going to be similar to this past semester…but I’m going to try.

I’m working on my New Year’s Resolution piece and one of my resolutions is to blog at least twice a week. I think of of my best ideas (for my blog anyway) was the monthly bucket list. Being the list maker that I am, I not only enjoy making the list but also crossing things off.

Another thing I noticed while looking back on last year’s blog posts was that I use to take a lot of pictures of my life. I guess I don’t much any more because I’m usually getting paid to take pictures but that is an awful reason to stop taking them on a day to day basis. My business has been growing steadily since I opened it in October 2010 and I’ve been saying all this time that I took pictures before I was paid to do so, and I’ll continue to take pictures long after. I guess with the pressure of this past semester finally off my shoulders, I can go back to being the happy, camera holding, picture taking girl that I’ve always been.

Ok, I’ve procrastinated long enough and the garlic cheese bread won’t make itself. Hey, I think I’ll blog the recipe tomorrow 🙂

P.S. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
