We’re only a few hours away from TORNADO TIME! Just wanted to let you all know. I don’t think it’s going to be too bad or rather, I hope it doesn’t get too bad. By the time most of you read this the storm will have already pasted. Tornados on the water is not very common but hey, it could happen, and the lake house could not be much of a house tomorrow morning.

We’re as prepared as we can be here. Our friends down the road have a storm shelter in their basement. It’s has crazy thick concrete walls, etc. etc. They have invited Neil, myself, and the pups to their house if a tornado warning develops in our area. Having to stay there is going to be  a pain in the butt, however, I’m afraid of what could happen if we don’t take the necessary precautions. I mean, schools let out early today in preparation for this storm system. Serious.

All I have to say is if we live through this (ahem) we’re SO building some sort of shelter in our around our house.
