A Chilly Fall Golden Hour Lower Town Paducah Kentucky Engagement Session

Kaitlin & Nathaniel met while serving at a restaurant. Nathaniel said that from the moment he first saw her, he thought she was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen. How sweet is that?!? He made a point to place himself in her area during the first week of them working together and sure enough, they hit it off! Nathaniel still maintains that Kaitlin is way out of his league and before they started dating, he didn’t think he had a shot. Kaitlin says he’s so sweet and thoughtful and rarely complains and she’d never met anyone like him.

Over a year ago, Nathaniel took Kaitlin to Garden of the Gods to grad some drone footage and, to unbeknownst to her, propose! During the end of their visit there, he asked her to go out on an infamous flat rock so that he could take a few more pictures and while Kaitlin was looking out over the bluff, he pretended to work his drone – he was actually taking the ring out of his pocket and bending down on one knee. He asked her to turn around and well, you know the rest of the story!

Fast forward to the beginning of November when their original engagement session back got rained out. Their’s was the first rained out session of fall, which is odd! And even though their back up date was dry, it was rather chilly out – 45 degrees I believe? But we pushed through the cold because the light was so yummy that afternoon!
