A Drizzly Fall Engagement Session in Cherokee Park, Louisville Kentucky
Mary Catherine & Corey met playing ultimate frisbee in Louisville and they continue to be very active with sports in the Louisville community. Mary Catherine states that they are very supportive in terms of cheering each other on in sporting events and that carries over to their relationship and everyday life. Now, I am not the sporting type but Neil is and I’ve learned that there’s almost nothing better to him than to have me there rooting him on in whatever he’s doing in life. Mary Catherine & Corey already have that nailed down and I’m certain their marriage will be a successful one!
After shooting Olivia & John’s engagement session the day before in Lexington, I drove to Louisville to meet Mary Catherine & Corey at Cherokee Park. The closer I got to Louisville, the darker the sky grew. I’m obsessive about watching radars and I was confident that we would be able to shoot at least half of their session and since I was already in the area, we chose to go ahead and start their session and shoot as long as we could. I have awesome couples for a variety of reasons and Mary Catherine & Corey are added to that list for the fact that the last 30 minutes of their session it was drizzling and they were 100% fine with it! I asked them frequently if they were good or if they wanted to call it – each time they both shrugged and said, “We’re fine to keep going if you are!” And I was. I always am!
