A Hendersonville Tennessee Cozy In Home Newborn Session
You all know I love my studio and I LOVE the images I’m able to produce in my studio. I have so much control: The light is where I want it and with my sheer curtains, I’m able to control how much and where it shines in. The white painted walls and ceiling provide for true colors and the warm stained hardwood floors add a comfortable, homey feel to the whole session. Needless to say, newborn portraits are best done in my studio.
But man oh man, when everything if just perfect at a client’s home, I’m in sentimental photographer heaven! I love photographing the newborn’s nursery. I love documenting the mama nursing her baby in the chair that she’ll be nursing him in for months to come! And when there’s a neutral colored room with amazing window light, since I bring a lot of my newborn portraits “stuff” with me, I’m able to capture those sweet newborn alone poses that are similar to what I get in the studio.
It was a big deal for me to travel all the way to Hendersonville TN but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Photographing our cousin’s newborn’s session in their sweet home, amongst all their family heirlooms, on their bed, in the comfort of their own environment – it was so important to them and therefore, to me. Sweet Waylon, you’re so so loved and I can’t wait to photograph you for the rest of my life!
