Sometimes, some couples really make an impact on my life. From the moment I first met them, during their engagement session, I knew that Katie & David would be one of those couples. I pray for each and every one of my couples and I can’t wait to see what marriage brings to them as individuals and as a couple!

My favorite part of Katie & David’s day, like most of my wedding days, was definitely their first look. And boy am I glad they opted to do a first look! We had planned for a two part bride & groom portrait session, the first part right after their portrait session and the second right before the reception. The light was incredibly beautiful right after their first look, unlike after the ceremony, AND we had a few extra minutes, so we took advantage of it!
