It was calling for rain last Saturday, kind of like it does every Saturday in spring/summer in Kentucky! Being a natural light photographer, it saddens me when we are forced inside for portraits BUT when the ceremony is actually outside, rain really makes things difficult! We are all thanking God that it didn’t rain a drop! I started the day at Lauren’s mom’s house where the girls were getting ready and where the dress was. Yes THE dress! Man I loved this dress!

I kept telling Lauren that her dress looked like it was in Gone With The Wind! Along with giving her a wedding band that day, he also gifted her these beautiful diamond earrings! We moved closer to the winery, to the hotel next to the reception venue, to get Lauren in her dress. And the awesome watch Lauren gave Dylan. You can’t beat Swiss! Yes, the dress was amazing but her bouquet was not to be out done! Very soon I’ll be talking about The First Look on the blog… again… Mainly because I have more to say on the topic but also because I want, no NEED to highlight the images of Lauren & Dylan’s First Look again. Best First Look I’ve photographed to date and being there when it happened was even more heart-swelling! Gosh I just love these girls! Look closely and you’ll see Dylan’s Blue Steal face. It was awesome. The ceremony area was beautiful and in the perfect location for beautiful light!
